Jim Shepard - 'The Hollywood Hills are Alive and Well' EP

I post whatever Jim Shepard stuff I find whether it's good or not. That being said, I wasn't too impressed with this 7", but it's still Jim covering Kim Fowley tracks, which is such a cool idea that the execution doesn't really matter. Hopefully someone is glad this is here, as the 'Forever Lowman' blog is apparently gone.

The music is extremely lo-fi, as is much of Shepard's output, and it sounds like he had a fun time (which isn't as typical of his stuff). Apparently this EP also goes by the title of 'Face on the Factory Floor.'

1. Face on the Factory Floor
2. Animal Man
3. California Man
4. The Trip
5. Nam Lamina
